Job Description

Aftershock PC is looking to expand our team and continue to provide the best quality custom PC's available in Australia. We are seeking tech experts who are detail oriented, methodical, and know how to detect and troubleshoot hardware that is either faulty, or not quite performing at the level that is expected. You should be very familiar with benchmarking, expected temperatures under load, bios settings & optimisations and how to get the most out of a PC

Responsibilities

  • - Testing, Benchmarking and QA for Custom PC's to ensure that our customers receive the awesome standard of product that they expect
  • - Servicing or RMAing components that are faulty or not performing up to standard
  • - Problem solving a system / component that is throwing up a compatibility issue that should be fine
  • - Ensuring that BIOS & drivers are optimised/installed properly, RAM is running at the correct frequency, all ports are operational, wi-fi/bluetooth is working perfectly etc etc.

Requirements

  • - Advanced PC hardware knowledge/experience
  • - Very High attention to detail and methodical worker
  • - Impressive problem solving skills
  • - Ability to multitask - you will be working on 10-16 PC's at once
  • - Go above and beyond for other team members, and other departments
  • - Passion for PC hardware and software
  • - Willing to take accountability and fix issues when things go wrong
